Lawrence is the expert behind Heritage Heating and Cooling. He has been in the industry for 26 years and in NWA since 2011. He decided to open his own business after working locally as a technician, installer, project manager, estimator and HVAC teacher. He has experience repairing and installing heating and air conditioning units in homes, large residential places such as dorms and apartments, and commercial buildings. He has also designed ductwork for residential and large-scale developments. Lawrence is passionate about the trades and has taught adult students at Northwest Technical Institute in Springdale. His goal is to open an HVAC school in NWA.
At Heritage, we want to work with homeowners to show them how to save money on energy costs and make their current systems efficient. HVAC systems are major investments and can last for years with proper maintenance and upkeep. People shouldn’t have to worry about facing high-pressure sales pitches when they call about their heater or air conditioner not working. Most issues can be fixed and don’t require a whole replacement.
Lawrence started learning the HVAC trade in New York City, where he did residential and commercial boiler change outs. Among other projects, he worked on the industrial chillers that cool the Empire State Building in New York City. He later worked in Upstate New York, Massachusetts and Oregon before moving to Fayetteville in 2011. He and his wife, Amy, have twins, Ellie and Lawson, who attend Fayetteville Public Schools.
